Congratulations, on your successful interview!

A career in teaching is very rewarding and at RCTTP we support our candidates throughout the entire process and beyond. This page will provide you with further details about your next steps with Redcar and Cleveland Teacher Training Partnership.


The Next Steps

Next steps - you will be keen to know what the steps in the process are. Don't worry, we'll support you every step of the way!

Following your interview, we will contact you to inform you of the outcome, successful candidates with receive a Conditional Offer.

Successful candidates need to provide any outstanding documents before the beginning of the course in September (e.g. copies of GCSEs, Degree or Equivalency Tests). We will also need to see the original certificates.

DBS - All candidates complete an Enhanced DBS Clearance, this usually takes place in May and RCTTP will guide you through the process.

Student Loan - Most students opt to apply for a Student Loan to pay their tuition fees and support them through their training year. RCTTP will contact you to let you know when the application systems open.

RCTTP will put you in touch with your host school to arrange a visit so you can meet the Head Teacher, Mentor and Class Teacher.

Induction - induction sessions take place in July.

RCTTP will keep in touch during this time and it is also a good time to contact us with any questions you have!
